Before ASDA there was a Co-op store,and before the store there was the Co-op laundry UCLA, which stood for many years.

There was also a club there, can't remember if it was the Belmonts or the laundry. I think it was one room affair with bar and stage.

Anyone remember the 'Rocker's Bridge' ? It was on Woodchurch Road just up from the Asda as you go into Birkenhead .
