noticed alot of builidng work going on at the old M53 ford garage and over the last couple of days they have made a big car park.
does anyone know what they are making?

apartments???, the car park is a carbon copy of the old flour mills which are now apartments car park

Its gonna be a wheelchair assesment centre for NHS!!!!
The main office will be the new office block opposite.
Was doing a breakdown in there last week and asked the guys. Thurt it might be small industrial units.

In the 90's Morrisons wanted a large portion of the Hind St, Blackpool St, Jackson St, Thomas St, Mollington Street TDM and gas works area.
I'm not sure if they ever got around to buying any of the land, but there was only one firm that wouldn't sell (the skip hire company I think).
