with regards to the "mill" or "cock fighting ring" on bidston hill
when i was about 12 myself and my dad were wandering up there and came across this....it was very overgrown at the time, we were both intrigued so did a bit of research into it...when we found no hard evidence of its use we got the rangers permission ( Mr fox ?) to clear it....we did so , emptying the trough and centre pit.
We photographed, measured it all and drew up plans. We wrote up what info we had found and gave a copy to the rangers up there.

thats the chappy as for pics...il go down to me mums and have a route about also somewhere ive got pictures of remains of huts in the sunken forest of meols ..will dig em out
