Well, at the weekend, after over 3 years my Xbox came up with the dreaded 3 red rings of death. Got on to the Microsoft site entered the Serial number, followed the instructions, and its now been sent away under warrenty  ...any one done this recently? How long did it take them to get it back to you? I also resorted to firing up the old PS2 - what an epic FAIL that was

can be anywere from 14 to 21 day stu. once it hits 2 weeks a phoned them every single say sayin were's ma xbox u said 2 weeks. an it took the 25 days in all. but because i had phoned up complaining so much they gave me a free arcade game and a free pad

Long gone are the days when consoles were reliable and not built as defective.
Mind you, long gone are the days when consumers would not have been happy to "just put up with it".

Just checked the status of the repair, and I think its fixed and awaiting UPS collection from the repair facility to be delivered back to me

xbox 360 says you can get sky do you get the sports channel aswell free You have to be subscribed to sky. If you sky subscription includes sky sports then yes, you can watch sky sports. You can get 1 months free trial, but you will need to purchase sky multiroom to get it permanently on your XBox. Sky player on xbox is alright if you are already paying for it, but i wouldn't bother paying extra just for it.

Mine had loads of foriegn crap all over it. Its beggining to make sence now why I still havent recied it back.

Mine was collected last tuesday, just checked the Microsoft site and the UPS tracking number, and its due for delivery tomorrow

Arrived back today - all sorted.
Didnt make note of the serial number though, so dont know if its new, or been fixed...
