An excellent group to participate in is:-
waaddsup
Contact Gary Sendall
Website www.waaddsup.co.uk
Email [email protected]
Telephone 07854325653

waaddsup is a support group and is the first and only one in wirral for people with ADHD/ADD run by people with ADHD/ADD The group has a committe and is also affiliated to ADDISS. The group meets every 3 weeks in Tranmere where they offer free friendly advice information. They also have a library of books and serve tea / coffee. The group is open to anyone from the ages of 14yrs upwards. The group is mainly for those WHO have ADHD/ADD - not a parent group, however, parents are MOST WELCOME as everyone has something to learn or say that can be useful to others who have it or live with it.

Hope this is of use. x

I used to do a bit of caring in the community myself with a care agency. Care homes are good to speak to too as they have a lot of information. If you're based in Birkenhead, you could always try Devonshire Manor Care Home. Care home Birkenhead

I hope that helps.
