The court heard he repeatedly punched the officer in the face, knocking off and smashing the officer's glasses....and the punishment.... He was banned from driving for two years and ordered to take an extended test when he is eligible to return to the roads.

Thats why people with modified cars get a bad name.
And he didn't get a sentance becuase he is starting a new job in ireland.
I'd lock him up and make him lose the job, would teach the little bellend a lesson

That is completely effin ridiculous. The judge should have said so what, about the job and banged him up anyway.
A girl gets threatened with 7 days in nick for skiving off jury duty and this tool is essentially let off with assault on a police officer?
