saw something similar a while back on tv and i think they training rescuers on how to help people out of the mud.the one i saw was based in grange over sands which is renowned for sinking sand.

well they where out last night at otterspool searching with boats and that vehicle as well so maybe not an exercise. However i may be wrong and it would be good to know that inshore rescue know their onions.

yup, practise mud rescue, Its getting worse due to the weather change......
