Alot of the lorry drivers get taken off the bin duties to go on the gritting trucks, its more of an emergency than the bin collection........

thats right cos a mate of mine worked the gritters last year and was getting paid a bundle in overtime from the council,nothing to do with binmen,as a sidenote mine were emptied wednesday as normal.

empty bin! mine tooo But only after a row on the phone. They said that they have to take the word of the Driver that the road was inaccessible. So i pay for my collection and there not taking my word. Just a Note : My Road was Clear and 2 cars parked in the street.
