There's newspaper snippets in the Liverpool Mercury, 1852, just searching for Arab Arms, Watson St. Searching for Arab Arms Hotel, the first hit is 1886, no hits for Arab Arms Hotel prior to that date. The 1886 snippet is an advert for 3 waitresses for a large concert room. The photo and children in it looks earlier than the war? God help us, Come yourself, Don't send Jesus, This is no place for children. Bertieone.

mikeeb Forum Addict Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 1,632 birkenhead	The pic I posted is from BFA 1950 which made think it was bombed because the actual roof is lower than the 1st floor walls. If it wasn't bombed, don't you think it is strange to build a fake 1st floor facade?
