It's took me nearly a week to try and remember the name of the club I was thinking of - Ruperts!! Had the awfully steep set of stairs down to the bar - I fell down all of them one night whilst wearing a "la isla bonita" dress I got from Richard Shops, black material with fuschia pink lace over it, off the shoulder job. I hit the bottom of the stairs and it was more of an "off the top half" dress lol. Doormen took a photo of me at the bottom of the stairs and put it on the "wall of shame".

I still have a massive dint in my leg from that night raftl

As a kid, when coming down from the top deck, assuming there was no one behind you and no conductor on the platform, a simple jape was to wizz the destination blind handles round as fast as possible.

When you alighted and the bus drove on its merry way, it was always a laugh to see what the potluck destination and "via" blinds read !

Ah such simple fun !!!
