I think the sub has basically been saved because believe it or not, it is one of only a few remaining in the world. The other sub and the ship only saw action in the fawkland's, so probably arnt classed as important as one of the last remaining U-Boats. However, we living in Britain, would beg to differ.

I'm pretty sure the Onyx was bought by a Barrow businessman - it's on show in the docks there. You can see some very cool pictures of the inside of ONYX here http://www.limewolf.com/?p=10these were taken in Birkenhead before we lost the actually good, well preserved sub that we had.

Ooooo I should really go down, but I have some stuff to do today... too much time spent at her's in the last couple of weeks so im enjoying some time with Felix lmao... actually im sorting me business.
