Jonah mate, it's not that it was bad or not worth the money just feel i've agreed to something i shouldn't of.

Kind of only get myself to blame.

for those that want to know. It was quite a good experience, very pleasent (well he is getting £180 per hour). He listens to what you have to say in turn, then comes up with ideas and suggestions. you then kind of TWEAK these idea's to suit yourself and your situation.

Your Ex then tweaks it and the solicitors then tries to work it out again taking into account both your ideas.

He had an idea for our situation which put in idea to which he took into account but didn't really change it much and i said yes to it. But i'm still not happy with the overall idea so might just go to court anyway.

to change anything to have to have another meeting (£180) because you both have to agree to it. our next meeting is on the 17th March.

Gutted

Not going into too many details.

Do you have any contact at all? At the moment.
Or will your next contact with your daughter be 17th March?

Curious.

Court can cost Thousands, as the Judge seems to think
that by giving you less than half of what you want
you will be fine with that, and then you pay all over
again.

My Advice : For what its worth.
Because your working, and getting no legal aid.
Think long and hard, it not fair we know that,
but to make it an even fight, you need legal aid mate.

cheers Mark,

Haven't seen my daughter for 3 weeks, we have a short term plan for now but after i thought about it i shouldn't of agreed it.

but if i do go along with it, it will start next week at the earliest. so that will be a full month without seeing her.

cry

From the sounds of it you got something sorted, which is a step forward. Maybe if you go along with the short term plan, it will progress into you and your ex making an amicable agreement and resulting in you getting more access to you Daughter.

Good Luck Mate.

Think positive mate!

What happens if you guys make an agreement?

What i mean, is lest say for the sake of it through this
in expensive mediation, you agree on 2 a week to see your
daughter.

Then 3 months down the line, for what ever the reason
may be, your ex decides your not seeing her?

Do you have any protection, against her changing her mind?
Is the only way to get this agreement in stone via a court?

Spot on mark, it's not legally binding, and if it goes to court the agreement made in mediation can not be used.

it is legally privileged.

You know what Daz this is leading up perfectly
for your ex to screw you over and turn your world upside down
because the law lets her.

And you wonder why Father's for Justice made such protests.

If it turns nasty mate,
you would end up loosing again and again.
And this can go on and on for months, well you know that already.

I seen my bro cough up £8,000 and then 4 years later another £3,000 just for equality.

There real numbers you have to think about.
And the only way that i am aware of for you to get legal aid
is to loose your job frown

I do sympathise with you and your situation.
And for you too shane.

To me it seems that these woman only have the kids a pawns
to fight with frown
There not interested in there welfare at all.
