Like i say i agree it is a bit much for nothing extra. if the gave it 4wd then i could see the need, when will vauxhall learn to listen to what people want. the VXR corsa and the astra need 4wd or they are useless.

...so why is the new M3 quicker round a track than the new RS4...  Either way, one of the comments made about the VXR Astra was that it had too much power, and torque steered to much - any more power will just be more scrabble

hmm..vauxhall build quality just isnt there for me..and its front wheel drive..which is just nuts with that kind of power....you just cant use it sensibly......
the only way to real power to tarmac transition is quattro! hmmmm wot about the vxr8..... huge bhp, rear wheel drive and immense arse out rwd fun...... I'd have one of themmmmmm

I kind of agree abit with what mat hes to say, but reguardless, that car is sex on wheels and i've have one any day of the week  oh dear someone isnt getting enough....if you gave me one id say thanks very much..sell it and buy a proper car... I'd probly do the same, as you can get alot more for your money (2nd hand car) but you can't take away the fact that it's nice lookin, fast - ok prob doesnt handle as well as quatro or rear wheel, but how often are you gonna throw it round a track, and its trendy ! Its enough for the roads of today and thats final. oh and between you and me, enough doesn't come in to it, i haven't had it in bloody years man, know any were to get it from

...so why is the new M3 quicker round a track than the new RS4... simple.. bmw have had more time to make sure it was faster than its benchmark rival..the rs4..but drive a quattro in the wet...and compare with a rear wheel drive..and theres NO contest..and as we know its wet most of the time here in the uk!

Suppose its just like what nVidia did a few years ago, rigged it pretty much by making their graphics cards outperform ATi's when it came to testing them on a certain industry standard utility... But when it came to the real world, everyone knew that ATi's offerings were much faster and more suitable for the things people would actually be using them for!

Sorry...but just reading this....4k extra for some stickers...thats ridiculous......They tsted the car at the Nordschleife??? How many did they write off....cos the torque steer is ridiculous....I cud never see one going round a track safely....
If ya want a bargain...you should grab the last decent Impreza ever....GB 270 I believe its called.....for £21,000 i think is th startin price...and the top version has over £7,000 of upgrades free.....just to celebrate the fact their most successful rally was GB...and that its the last of the "Good Ones".....
