Centenary this year, so should be extra special!

The long running, high speed event attracts 40,000 people and 12,000 motorcycles to the small Isle of Man each year.

Amazing high speed motorcycle racing on a 37 mile course of closed roads.

Races start this saturday.

Practices have been going on all week.

One day I'll get to go an watch this!! Perhaps next year?

Not sure if someone has died every year at the TT
but lets hope no one gets hurt this year.

Crazy speeds...

Virtually every year there are fatalities – last year there were three – as bikers lose control at speeds of up to 160mph on the treacherous bends and dips, crashing not onto straw bales or rubber tyres as they would on a race track but into telegraph poles, phone boxes and stone walls.

Fastest ever speed on the course was 207mph. The fastest average speed around the circuit is 129mph!

I'm amazed that it hasn't been banned then, not that i want it banned.
