Jeremy Clarkson has been criticised by Ofcom after referring to a car as "a bit ginger beer".
The remark, which is Cockney rhyming slang for "queer", was made about a Daihatsu Copen on an episode of Top Gear last July.
The Ofcom reaction described the incident as having "no justification", especially as the comment was so blatant I can't see whats wrong with it, it does look gay! Haha! Digital Spy Report

They were talking about it on the BBC breakfast news this morning saying wording has changed over the years and it has become somewhat acceptable to call stuff "gay", as it refers to being "lame", but it is still regarded as offensive too.
