She sed she thinks her dad fixed her car, i asked her how an she sed "took summit apart n cleaned it n it dnt seem 2 b doin it no more" I tried to ask her wot her dad cleaned lol but she doesn't know :S
I told her about wot u sed ckb180 lad an she sed that some one else had sed the same thing.

A box on the side of the throttlebody causes the problem. That'll be the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor. Pick one up from a scrappy for less than £20 easy. Im not sure if its the Lambda sensor as Matty says..but it sounds about right. Lambda sensor is around the exhaust part of the engine, not the inlet. Most likely to be around the exhaust manifold or further down underneath the car on the exhaust pipe. Even lambda sensors are far far far cheaper than £150-200 from a scrappy. Again, should cost no more than £20

good to hear the problems sorted.....if anyone ever drives a micra and it starts doin that..theres a good chance its the throttlebody problem...i did have an entire guide on hoe to do the solderin..but ive lost it...not needed now tho...
