this does not look like a HD tv. and it has no HDMI on the back?

It doesnt need HDMI to comply with the HD Ready certification. It has DVI and component, both of which can quite happily carry HD signals. All HDMI is, is the HD version scart, strongly based upon DVI. To be classed as HD Ready, connection requirements simply state it must have a DVI or HDMI connector, and whichever connection(s) the unit has, it must support HDCP.

Alright this plasma does not turn on, checked the fuse, fuse fine, no power at all.
£200 or am putting in a shop to get fixed and the price will go up.
Cannot be anything serious as its only a year and a half old.
Probably a transformer.
