Convoy Departing from the Rock an 7:30 pm on this coming Friday the 28th Novemember 2003.
Scooby has been in touch with the Guy's who run the Preston Meet and arranged a Convoy from the wirral. The E-mail reads as below...
"Hi mate,
We had the first Preston meet at the end of last month. There are 3 of us who organised it, we found a suitable location and organised just 2 convoys to it, one for north of preston the other for south of preston.
In total we had about 40 cars turn up, might not sound many but we were happy with the turnout. Now i don't know if you know what the police are like in preston but they hate cruisers!!!! We had been at the location for about 30 minutes when a cop car pulls on, we thought here we go time to move to a back up location. But thankfully we got two sound coppers who said that as long as we weren't doing any harm we could stay and left us to it, result!!!
Right if you wish to come the next one is on the 28th November, last friday of the month. The location is ******** in preston, near the town centre. Kicks off at 9pm.

Thanks for the interest.
Thats what we need to make the meets big is interest from people from other cruise sites.
What we are hoping for is a meet similar to the one at Bolton on thursdays, get nearly 100 cars each week. Anyway we had a good start with the first one.
