After my little incedent with a roundabout today i've decided to lower my mobile bouncy castle. Only problem is I've never done it before.

Do i need to replace the springs and shocks or can I just do the springs?

Scooby if you can get your hands on anything let me know.

Springs and shocks is ideal...

You can do just springs, but:

1: Your standard shocks will wear quickly..(Mine burst within 2 months..)

2: You won`t get optimum handling without the shocks..

If you can afford to do both at the same time i would say do it!!!!

Hope this helps...

Contact me via Autosafe Garage and i will provide an estimate for the work required.

I agree with Paz on this one, springs will lower it, Springs and shocks are prefered and will perform allot better.

3rd that..

the job of replacing the dampers is 2/3rds done when youre fitting new springs so you may as well do it then if only to save two labour bills for stripping the suspension down twice (once for springs and second time when dampers enevitably fail further down the line)

Phil

PS: im in the modifying trade too
