Get a full sports suspension kit meesh fella. Only cost about 250 bar (give or take) and itll up your handling no end aswell as lowering the car. Spring clamps are a silly idea and as far as im aware are only used to hold the springs shut while u remove them from the strut, not to compress the strut to "lower" ur car. That sounds dangerous and the dampers are still gonna be soft thus making the handling even worse than it is now.Up to u mate but thats my two pennies worth

longer studs? that sounds expensive. just get a wider offset But make sure its not too wide as it may protrude from the outer arch. This means when u lower it it will drop the arch lip onto the tire if u go far enough. I think wheels/tires and suspension is an area where u really SHOULD NOT WING IT. Pay out the money and get the archwork meesh, and a proper suspension kit not some "caravan towing" clamps

what are you gonna do when you need new tyres? get a loan? 19's on a standard fiesta might look a bit/lot daft meesh, would look better if you had a widder than wide - wide arch kit maybe, handling will be none existant and i dont think you'd have much chance of ever doing a 3 point turn again The spring clamps that im talking about are NOT from caravans or anything like that, they work on Andys car. They may not be the best idea but if your looking for a cheap solution then thats about as cheap as it gets apart from cutting springs, which is just dangerous.

In my opinion, anything bigger than 16" on a small car looks ridiculous. The car sits about a foot off the ground, and makes the car look even worse than on 13" unlowered!! It looks so much better on cambered 15's and lowered.
