Hi, does anyone have information on the club which preceded Mr Digby's in Thomas Street? I have seen mention of The Bee Hive, but wondered if that was operating until the early 1970s, when Digby's launched.Any help most appreciated.

Plans were approved in 1971 for the former Shaftsbury Boys Club to operate as the Beehive Social Club, it was approved on a second application. Ricky McCabe Entertainments was the owner. Approx 1975 it became Digby's.
