Not being too sure where our council place their lights, as some places are funded by the local shops/communities , but should we follow the crowd and be miseries and save costs on electiricity ? The decorations are installed and removed by private registered companies and are not funded by the Council. It is also up to local business (and private individuals if they wish) to organise the decorations.
