A great weekend. The only thing that spoiled it was the BBC repeatedly apologising to those who don't like the monarchy.

I really enjoyed it, thought the lights and drones over Buckingham palace were amazing and the pageant yesterday was excellent. I loved seeing the Queen and Paddington having tea…Felt really patriotic seeing the huge crowds and flags filling the Mall. It was a piece of history as we won’t see another platinum jubilee for a very long time if at all …

It puts a different light on the anti-monarchical stance a lot of the media has been projecting in recent years. The complaints about the cost of the monarchy has largely come from the same people that lambast Harry and Meghan for distancing themselves from state funding, you can please some of the people .......
