If they are live calls , just keep saying 'I don't understand' or bark like a dog, until they ring off. Saves you having to listen to there rubbish, and keeps you amused at the same time. Most of those have taken me off their list I think, plus the ones I told to get lost as I'm getting very few atm... but that probably means all will change again soon.

I do the same granny, but had one unfortunate incident, after getting a number of calls from Asian callers I began to get annoyed, so the last one I got I told the sender to F--- off and to my embarrassment it turned out to be someone with an Indian accent asking if I had taken delivery of the Wirral Globe.

I whisper and hold the phone away from my mouth.

They then ramp up the volume on their headsets to hear you.

And then out comes a whistle! It won't stop the calls but it does make you feel better.

I'd love to know where they get their information from though, I've not had an accident in the last three years like they say.

I'd love to know where they get the info from as well Gibbo. Most of mine are from life insurance companies.I'm getting worried that they know something that I dont.

I have noticed that after doing searches on the internet for various things including insurances,and after being quiet for a while the calls seem to start up, maybe just a coincidence, or are the numbers being sold on?

As soon as they have finished their scripts about how i had a accident i tell them yes it was awful and i died, but i had a fab send off, and then i rattle on about how lovley the flowers were etc etc and they hang up,
