Chasing clouds yet again.

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

Yet another roll out that will never be completed which means they only complete those areas that they would choose to cherry pick, the poor speed and remote areas never fully catch up.

There should be a running order where the low speed areas are done in parallel with the favoured areas, instead they are "planned" for the end of the project which never happens because they start another project.

Doesn't affect me directly, I have 75+mbps which is a lot faster than most servers deliver these days but it pees me off that they are given contracts with conditions that just seem to fade away.

Tut tut. That's a breach of the terms of their contract.

I know we absolutely need 1000mb/s ASAP because it is vital to watch The Voice in 8k, and beyond that John Lewis Christmas adverts in 2030 in 64k/128k in the future - I have about 17mb/s, but realistically much less than that, and that is fast enough for me.

Are there any advantages apart from convenience and ability to watch reality TV shite or superhero movies in higher quality?
