Hi everyone,
I'm researching my family tree and was wondering if anyone had access or could point to somewhere I could locate old pictures of Wallasey. In particular Hope Street New Brighton - generations of my family have lived there and I know some of the larger homes used to be there.
Can anyone tell me more about the area in the 18th and 19th Centuries?
Thanks so much,
xxxx

Hi there. My brother was born/lived at #5 Hope street 1951. (On his birth certificate) Mother Booth, father Wrighton, but we (he) is not at all sure who they lived there with, a relationship to his father maybe, or if they rented. I've googled the street, it looks pretty short, I'm not having much luck with past ownership search. Then I saw your post. Perhaps your family knows what may have lived there cira 50. My brother recalls a "Nan" and Aunt Flo. Again he's not sure if they were related to John L. Wrighton. would be amazing if you or your family know the family that lived there! Thanks in advance for any help! -R.
