The satellite view on Met Office Website shows this smoke is
coming from the moorland fire in Greater Manchester.

We don't want that. Hope they get it sorted soon, but it's still quite serious by the reports coming through.

I could smell a burning smell last night in North Wales, it was quite strong, could've been from the moors fire.

My husband said he could see plumes of smoke from one of the rigs from wales and if i could work out how to get a pic on here i could show you lol

That rig tends to burn off waste gas/oil around dusk. You can see a flame and often black smoke.

i think he meant with the intensity it was at and the amount of smoke
, as i know they burn them off from time to time,
