Do you REALLY need a roller? Heavy thing to collect / move
Would an electric lawn scarifier be of any use? One available

Thanks snod , I have an electric scarifier, not the best it’s a macalister b and a special, I am mixing a tonne of high quality top soil and fertiliser with my existing soil and then turfing, in order to get the best possible finish I want the ground to be as flat as possible without and settling over the coming months, a roller or wacker is the only way to get the ground level.
