Hi Snowwhite,depending on the size you need have you considered a Hippobag. My neighbour hired one from B&Q I think but I don't know how much they cost . Google Hippobag for info

Also depending on what you are tipping and quantity. People will come and take things if free like paving flags, wood removing.sheds greenhouses. Some ruputable man and van guys will collect and take tip for less than skip hire but depends on what and how quick you need stuff removing.

There's this one - A2B Skip Hire Wirral Ltd 12 Ton on the drive - £200 + VAT = £240 12 Ton on the road - £200 + VAT + £30 Permit = £270 Prices quoted are for the Wirral area And there's also this place on Dock Road, Birkenhead - SKIPIT4UWhich claims to be cheaper than hiring a skip. I've got 3 metal water tanks they're taking away for free because they're scrap.
