I wondered if it was a normal ever day, unfortunate accident , with the BBC crawling all over it to make a bigger story.
All the still photos would indicate that there are plenty of onlookers.

They've confirmed a terrorist attack, it's not just the BBC.

BBC have just confirmed that the police are NOT regarding it as a terrorist attack !

Thank God my heart dropped when I saw the headline. Suppose they can't take any chances so I expect all security scrambled in case it was.

However, BBC had that script run along the bottom of their page just before I posted it, but have not repeated it since. So either the BBC are making mountains or someone in the tea- break room , got the wrong info.

Yes watching it now alot of force being used on that guy who I presume was the driver. We will just have to wait and see what exactly happened.

Road traffic accident. I hope the poor chap who was pinned to the ground , hadn't suffered a heart attack or a stroke.

I would have thought it a matter of a few seconds to establish it was an RTA and not a terror attack, and can't work out why the whole area being pinned down for hours was needed to make that decision.
Overreacting like this is probably greeted with delight by the terrorists. They were probably at home watching telly whilst the police locked up huge areas of South Ken for them.

Its more difficult to establish whether its an RTA or a terrorist attack gone wrong (as they often do)?
