Car failed MOT as horn not working. There was a recall of horns on earlier Vauxhalls but not this model. I would appreciate advice re the cause of this and is it common.Any recommendations for technician to sort it out gratefully received and likely cost.
many thanks

Many horns stop working simply through lack of use. Try finding where it is located and give it a sharp tap with something metal while someone is pressing the horn, this often brings them back to life. Or it could be something as simple as a fuse.

Clean the spade connections and try the horn next wire a bulb in circuit press the horn and if the bulb lights up your horn is the problem.Only held in with one small bolt, five minute job and a fiver from scrappy.
