One would have to ask, what is it doing in your neck of the woods, Fish ? By chance Granny I have a definitive answer to your question An old gentlemen who lives opposite was 93 and was a bomber or pilot on board Lancaster bombers during the war. It was a fly over his house in recognition of his services. Nice touch.

Saw it flying overhead in whilst I was in Sainsbury's car park. I assumed it was a bombing run on their crisps aisle which is far too powerful in my opinion, but alas it wasn't. An inspiring sight none the less to see it so low, but no more so than were it to have been a modern commercial airliner. I think it is about time we stopped fighting WW2.
