Hi all I found a link for some old maps of Birkenhead but I think you need to be a rocket scientist to work it out with so many options! may be some use to someone, the maps are on the right hand side of the link below

This is the only photo I have of Beaufort Road. No idea of the date and not very good quality...

Hi this a map from 1935 to 1939 will 155 Beaufort road be where I have put a ring round it?

This larger scale 1950s OS map shows the numbering at the west end of Beaufort Road, with number 155 outlined. The aerial photo below, taken in July 1946, clearly shows the rebuilt war-damaged properties at numbers 137-139 and 155-159.
