Does anyone know where to go in Wirral to get cheap repair for two minor problems to mend a walking length umbrella?

Think you've found a niche market paxvobiscum. I have a collection of damaged umbrellas stuck together with gaffa tap-- and I usually dump one when I find another in a charity shop--usually between £1 and £2. Always get damaged in the boot of car. Good luck

This one is a treasure. A Poppy umbrella bought as a present for me in Flanders from Toc H where the Army Officers in WW1 relaxed in their spare time. It always reminds me of my friends in Crete who bought it me. Also I think of my trip to Flanders for 80th Anniversary of Passcendaele and family who fought and died there. There are a couple of UK outlets online that sell these poppy ones. The walking length is very strong and about £17 plus postage. Mine has lasted about fifteen years.
