The Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse Chartered Incorporated Organisation will soon be taking over responsibility for this wonderful old building, and urgently need volunteers prepared to give us the benefit of their experience and expertise. In particular, we need a Treasurer and a Fundraiser.

SRT - Single Rope Technique. Abseiling and/or ascending a single rope. Used by climbers, cavers and mine explorers. Some of the best fun you can have (with your clothes on !)

Now that's useful - whenever we have abseils, I get to climb the stairs inside on escort duty, and come down the same way.
