The Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse Chartered Incorporated Organisation will soon be taking over responsibility for this wonderful old building, and urgently need volunteers prepared to give us the benefit of their experience and expertise. In particular, we need a Treasurer and a Fundraiser.
If you could help or know someone who might, please contact Ken Harper on 0151 6410309 for further information.
I do apologise if this is the wrong place - and would welcome any advice where it could be better put!

Can't help with any of those roles but if you need a painter with SRT experience I'd be happy to help.

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. SRT - Single Rope Technique. Abseiling and/or ascending a single rope. Used by climbers, cavers and mine explorers. Some of the best fun you can have (with your clothes on !)

Now that's useful - whenever we have abseils, I get to climb the stairs inside on escort duty, and come down the same way.
