Your not wrong either to be honest, i've see tons of police sittin on the a41 at night and normally doing nothing too. Might be worth waiting up late for a few nights to see if they come back, at least if you battered them then you'd be safe in the knowledge that the police arn't going to do anything in the way of trying to do you for GBH

Either way, there must be something you can do, you've got tinted windows, maybe sit in the car one night with a camera and jump out and take a picture of them if they come back.

Police can only do something if theres witness/evidence - and if its more than one person doing it its classed as bias witness's.
Chance are they'll drop the case as like its been said, theres no money involved so there no point (in the police's eyes)
