Hi guys can any one recommend a free trusted easy to use DVD ripper I just want to make some copies of home videos for family Thanks John

If the home videos are already on DVD and you want to copy them, you won't need a ripper as there is no protection to strip out. Just do a clone with CDBURNERXP or similar.
If you're wanting to convert the DVDs to MP4s, then DVD Decrypter is an old favourite that's still around. Then use Handbrake or something similar to convert.
