What is it you want to be able to do with the dongle ? BBC iplayer or Netflix ? On Demand TV ? Then you can source a Dongle with your connection. HDMI or USB

We had the same problem when my son got his smart tv, we ended up getting powerline network adapters, one connects to your wifi router via an ethernet cable the other connects to the tv again via an ethernet cable and both are then plugged into the mains. Currys sell them from £19.99, i have added a link http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/comput...ng/321_3076_30123_xx_xx/xx-criteria.html
