Would not a thousand permanent jobs with a decent rate of pay be more of a an advantage to anyone who is a serious job seeker, also with good conditions. Instead of two weeks of utter mundain work to suit the DWP, and all the do gooders who want people to work for nothing. Hope you read this ESTHER MCVEY.

Surely mundane work must be better than no work, albeit possibly only for a short period. Even the best jobs have mundanity and become tedious at times. Of course a thousand permanent jobs would be better but as the Chinese proverb says "a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step". Look at their economy now.
