Hi looking for bit of advice. I went to see a consultant at arrowe park the mon before last he said I need an op and said it would be on 2nd April wk today. I went for preop but haven't heard anything since. Should I have received a letter of confirmation? Shall I try to ring tomorrow? Don't no wot to think?

I would ring up for confirmation, if I was you- just to settle your mind. Best wishes- there is no point worrying yourself until the 2nd April.

You should of received a letter confirming date, time and ward etc. i have had a lot of ops over the years and always receive confirmation. Give them a ring in the morning to double check.
