Hello all can anyone tell me if the chemist on the corner of Welllane Rockferry was ever owned by a Mr Thomas circa about 1914 and if so any family members still around? thanks for any help in advance

The nearest chemist to the corner of Well lane was in Old Chester Rd, two doors form the Fairfield pub, the Chemist was 296, the Fairfield, 290-292, in 1911 and 1916 the chemist was Peter Grant.

To Add I'm not sure if this is the person you seek, 1911 census, Edmund Griffith Thomas Chemist & Druggist, 58 Bebington Rd, Living there with wife and family, 1916 directory, Budden & Co Ltd, Chemists. 58 Bebington Rd.

there was a Mr Thomas had a chemist shop near the junction of OCR &Union St in the 1950'
