Are there normally taxis outside Hamilton Sq Station around midnight on a Saturday night? I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow night and will be getting the last train back to B'Head, and don't want to be stranded outside if there are no taxis.

Very occasionally but there are usually some by Wilkinsons.

So maybe it's better that I get off at Conway park. I'm not a big scaredy cat or anything, but I dont really want to be standing alone waiting for a taxi in Birkenhead at midnight on a Saturday. I should just book one when getting on the train from Liverpool to make sure they're there to meet me.

There are no trains Saturday Liverpool to Birkenhead due to engineering work, replacement buses all day.

There is a taxi rank across the road from Hamilton Square in Bridge street.

No there isn't, Bridge Street is all buses. Taxis are all outside Hamilton Square station. At 23:30 tonight (Friday) there were at least 15 taxis waiting at Hamilton Square! The replacement bus service will take you there.
