I can recommend a visit to Hack Green. Quite an eye-opener as to what lurked hidden away for the chosen few after a nuclear attack. Went there on a trip with Sub-Brit a few years ago. Go for it!
The secret bunker is worth a trip.We went in June 2012 with our youngest son,his wife and their youngster.This picture is unusual in the way the light caught one particular word.
Summer The bunker is open 7 days a week from the 20th of March until the 3rd of November. From 10.30am to 5.30pm.

Well that was a long day , just got home, with many thanks to the DR .for your help and support, a problem with car related to new ignition column either needs re-programming or is faulty < done 3 weeks ago> garage on tuesday.....chat soon.... on the wine...lol

Rocks that,s fine , i feel a bit bad that i never came and said 'goodbye' proper to you and tc when we got back to mine , just wanted to fed and walk the dog and 'de-stress on my own.The wine, mahjonng and big brother helped , went to bed hoping to get some sleep ..........When a neighbour 2 doors down went 'berserk'with a golf club and 'smashed her fellow,s works van and family car up ..... omg life ...
There was so much to see and really take in from the different rooms with their displays of equipment and uniforms etc, it was hard to pick out which pics to post (plus some of mine turned out crap 1st pic looks like an early version of a Dalek (any info on it anyone?)
Fantastic pics guys and girls big thankyou to all who help us out in our darkest hours you know who you are thought it was funny that we went to see the Dalek and ended up being rescued by the Dr few pics from me
