2.0 diesel estate jag xtype so far done a couple of hundred miles on £30 only had it a week

I got 589 miles out of full tank on a 2.o mk1 Focus 2001, but mine was well looked after and regular oil changes, am expecting a lot of miles from a 1.2 fiesta.
My Focus was costing me £416.00 per month
My Fiesta should drop me down to £156 per month

80-85Mpg Average on motorway.
45-60Mpg Average stop/start around town.
Certainly more economical than a hybrid car.
It is very economical, but at the cost of everything else.
A hyper-miler from Austria managed to do 1,246 miles on 45 litres of diesel in one of these, an average of 127.8 MPG!!
I'm happy with the mileage and cost savings, but as a car enthusiast it is not exactly a thrilling or engaging drive lol.

On my 150 mile run work on the motorway I'm getting about 54mpg, but around town its about 45mpg.

I average 62mpg doin 700 miles per week on m/way and round town approx 50/50 split.citroen c2

50mpg at a steady 70 on the motorway
38mpg round town
Also got a 2005 2.0 TDi Passat at the moment.
50mpg round town, 60mpg on the motorway, and recently did 36mpg towing a caravan to Anglesey
