Due to the current adverse weather conditions and an on-going Met Office weather alert for North West England which remains in force until 11:00 on Sunday morning it has been decided to cancel the meeting due to be held at The Liverpool Seafarers' Centre, Waterloo on Saturday January 19 at 13:00. The World Ship Society Merseyside Branch Committee would like to apologise for any disappointment, however, given the circumstances our members' and guests' safety is our prime concern as is the need to give adequate notice. Information on the rescheduling of the cancelled Cammell Laird presentation will be posted when an alternative date has been arranged. Even if you are not intending to go to this meeting yourself, but know someone who is, please could you pass the message on. The next branch meeting will take place on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at our usual venue - The Fly in the Loaf - 13 Hardman Street, Liverpool at 19:00 This meeting will comprise a presentation by Iain Quinn of the Clyde River Steamer Club - "Classic Scottish Cruising" John Luxton Vice Chairman
