I believe so. Someone on Facebook posted a picture they took. You could see an American Police car through the gate.

My daughter saw filming at the Birkenhead tunnel exit near the Wirral Met. Someone reckoned they saw Keira Knightley there. There were American police cars and soldiers dressed in old fashioned uniforms. Not sure how true it was about Keira Knightley though. Could have been wishful thinking
