Any1 no why the top of park rd east was all taped off by the crossing opp cole st school went past about 12am (midnight) there was a copper standing there preserving the scene

A man got beat up by a gang, know someone who lives by there. Her fella went over to help, sounds as though it was bad. Not heard anything else.
