I'm as patriotic as the next guy. My grouse is not about patriotism or lack of it, it's about the billions of quid that's been spent on the whole sketch. If you believe what the politicians (ting goes the spittoon) say about "an investment" and " lasting legacy" then IMHO you've been taken to the cleaners big time. Nowt personal softshoes I assure you. Politicians and their big business chums - pass the sick bag !! Sorry, heading

What about the billions spent on social programs? eg the german girl on here a few weeks who was told the gov't will give you free money.
