The front charabanc (Reg no HF59) in pablo42's picture was owned by the New Brighton Motor Coach Co, who owned quite a few white Daimler charabancs.

The company, which was based in Grosvenor Road, New Brighton, was formed in 1914 and dissolved in October 1932. HF59 in pablo42's picture has solid tyres and probably dates from about 1916.

The second picture below shows what is probably the same party (note the flags on top of the charabancs) outside Lever Bros head office.

Nice one Upton. Brilliant piece of detective work. So, the top photo would be Grosvenor Road?

Nice find.
Are they solid tyres? On wet cobbles, it must have been an interesting ride!
