wow, wouldn't notice the area looking at it now! it all changed a looooong time before i was born ('89) and i'd have loved to have seen what it looked like 100 years ago in person.

Wow...very interesting pics! My Mum and Dad used to go dancing at the Tower ballrooms. Wish we still had a pier... with all the modern developments in New Brighton now, that would be a nice nod to tradition to balance them. Bringing back the ferry would be too much to hope for!
